Genres at all times had been damaged, in fact. They’re, as with every different type of human-invented categorization, arbitrary. The notion of labeling any particular sport as one “kind” is inherently nonsensical, all artwork current on an infinite spectrum, the boundaries of labels drawn completely subjectively.
