Microsoft to accumulate Osmos to bolster Material platform

Microsoft has introduced it’s buying the agentic AI information engineering platform, Osmos.

It plans to include the brand new expertise into its information platform Microsoft Material. In accordance with Microsoft, Osmos’ AI brokers flip uncooked information into analytics and AI-ready belongings that can be utilized by OneLake, which is Material’s unified information lake.

Microsoft says that this acquisition is a part of the corporate’s total mission of enabling its clients to unify their information and analytics right into a single platform.
